The IT Management Technician is the qualifiedprofessional able to install equipment and networks, as well as to do its maintenance and administration. This specialist has the skills to carry out activities of conception, specification, design, implementation, decision, assistance and maintenance of systems and technologies for processing and transmitting data and information.
This technician performs activities such as:
Set up, install and use computer systems;
Plan and propose IT solutions;
Diagnosing and correcting lacks in the operation of computer systems;
Identify and understand the functioning between the components of computers and its peripherals;
Install and configure computers (isolated or networked), devices, peripherals and software;
Use computer applications andservices;
Select and install application programs based on user needsevaluation;
Plan, execute and update interactive pages for the Internet;
Install, configure and manage network operating systems and data communication applications (e-mail, Internet, ftp, etc.,...);
Install, configure and promote IT security solutions (antivirus, firewall, backup, etc.,...);
Design electronic circuits and the assembly of printed circuits;
Master the soldering techniques of electronic components;
Design algorithms in languageswith direct intervention on hardware and/ordatacommunication;
Perform preventive maintenance on installed computer systems;
Perform training and technical support, as well as after-sales support to customers;
Critically position yourself about technological innovations in the IT area.
